New Job - "Oh Homey!"

Today I started working in the Cost Planing group. This is going to be very interesting. I already like it very much because it isn't my old job, but I wonder if this will be really interesting. I guess time will tell.
Because nothing ever works well in our company, I knew my things were't going to be moved so I moved my most precious and important things myself. This included some Burger King toys from a few years ago. I is a homer and Marge toy that make noise, so as I walked up to my new office, with my box of belongings, the box kept saying "Oh, Homey"... which was very funny.
The commute was very short. 9 mins. It is 0.2 miles closer than the other Building, but there aren't traffic lights... so it is about 5-10 faster.
The group is called Cost Engineering. I will monitor what people are spending on parts, what they should spend on parts, and finding out ways to make parts better/cheaper with different materials. I think working on developing parts is going to be better than following part cost... but I guess I have to do both.
The people seem great... and happy. I haven't figured everyone out yet, but i hope things keep going well.
I still need to get those pictures from our drive up... I have been crazy busy since my return and then I threw a baby shower... I hope to do it this week.
