Road Trip! Deep to the Heart of Texas

My brother and I are driving to Houston tomorrow.
We have been preparing for the trip by mapping different routes, deciding where we will stay the night and what things we are going to take.
This trip will take 2 days, 1,500 miles, and with 2 neurotics in a Toyota Corolla there are doubts that both of us will make it down.
Tonight I am sleeping in Pinckney so we can get an early start. We have 14.5 hours to Jackson Mississippi so I think there will be a lot of things to see.
We are leaving in 9 hours and are getting the car packed.
It is at this time that I am realizing that my brother and I have never traveled alone together. Other than the obvious, that we are so similar, we probably won't make it out of the state... I realize that we both pack too much. My sister always talks about how she hated traveling with me as we went together to my dad's place in New Hampshire, because I took too much stuff. I really didn't think I was that bad, you should be prepared right? Well Michael and I both take that approach and I think the car will be full to the tippy top with crap we won't need. I now have a little more love for my sister as she dealt with all the things I traveled with.
I will give a short list:

1 DVD player
DVDs
i-pod and MP3 player
4 books
1 Case of water
1 case of Frappaccino
Apple slices
Cheese
Cookies
Animal crackers
Sun block
2 pairs of sun glasses
matches
3 sets of maps from Google and Yahoo
2 cell phone chargers
1 AC adapter for the car
2 cameras
And that is just what I brought, Michael has much of the same.....
I wonder how much we will be comfortable leaving in the car tomorrow night at the hotel
