Pseudo Italy

Today we went to Lugano, in the Italian part of Switzerland. It is surrounded on 3 sides by Italy. We could have easily gone to Italy, but instead we decided to climb a mountain. The trip started early. We caught the bus at 6:45 to Zug. Then we caught our train at 7:30. The train went straight south. If we had stayed on the train for another 30 mins we would have been in Milan Italy. It was tempting to see Bob's sister town, but we decided; when in Switzerland, stay in Switzerland. Arriving in Lugano was no problemo. Deciding what to do took some time. We walked around the city to get our bearing and then decided to walk around the lake to climb the mountain. This is what we know best to do. The Italian-Swiss aren't as good with the English. This posed only a slight challenge. They also aren't as friendly. We went up the mountain and saw Italy and had some local wine. Then as we were hanging at the top a lizard crawled across my foot. I don't like nature but I acted cool. We went down and got some Gelato, saw the local churches (which were a bit understated from what I have seen elsewhere) and I finished up with a Cappuccino as we waited for the train. It was quite hot and we were very tired at the end of it. I won't post a picture of this mountain, rather one of the photos from the town, and Bobs's artistic picture of the day. We were glad to come back to Jennie and David. We made it on our own but people are nicer in these parts we think.

I very much like that Gelato and Cappuccino are capitalized. Is that how they do it in Italian? Either way, the capital letter reflects their importance.

Also, you need to frame this pic of you with the book. It is very good.
