Deep in the Heart of Texas!

So we finally made it.
Miss. is nothing to write home about.
Louisiana is very wet... I don't know why people settled there. We drove around Baton Rouge looking for bignettes but found nothing but dilapidation. It is hard to tell what is hurricane damage and what is neglect. One could say that Detroit suffers from Hurricane damage....
Texas seemed to take forever to drive though. We stopped at a Jason's Deli for lunch. It was very tasty and I wish we had them at home. We arrived about the same time as Cheri and Max who took a plane here.... we went swimming and then out for Tex Mex. I got to wear my cowboy boots so I was very excited. Now I am very sleepy... I think I will post pictures tomorrow!
