Zurich and Back
This morning we decided to visit Zurich and come back early for an easy day. Bob and I hitched a ride into Zug with David on his way to work and waited until Michele, Wes, and Alexandra to arrive in Jennie's
to head to Zurich. We caught the train and then headed around old town Zurich. The scenery was nice, we walked by 2 churches and then at the second church Michele and I decided to climb up the tower. Wes stayed with Alex and Bob elected to stay behind with Wes. I should have taken that as a sign.... The stair well was a stone tomb to climb... it was so tight and dark and scary I didn't want to keep going. Michele and a Stranger convinced me it was just a few steps more.... and so I continued. To the rickety stair cases that took us to the top. The view was lovely and the clocks struck 11 wh
ile we were up there.Michele took some video of all the bells chiming.
We then with to the Freitag bag store for some shopping and headed back. On the train back to Zug some passenger next to us was escorted away by undercover police. This was very interesting to see but we didn't understand why. On the bus after the train was a crazy man who had a dog. His clothes were dirty and his nails were long and his dog was stinky and he randomly yelled at it throughout the trip.... we could ignore him until Alexandra dropped her water bottle and it rolled between his legs and the dog. I had to fetch it and it was almost as scary as that stairwell at the church!
When we returned Bob and I went on a boat ride with Jennie. This was very relaxing and fun!
Tomorrow we will all head to Luzern... including Jennie!

How lovely Jennie, you Michele and Alex look. Quite a day for you to fight with your fears. I am so proud of you. Still it is easier to sign anonymous.
I am glad the trip is going well. The blog and photo's are great. How brave of you to fetch the water bottle - hmmmm Miss Alexandra has an Aunt that will brave any tough situation for her. It is always nice to have a super hero in your corner for these types of issues. Enjoy your trip and keep us posted. Love to all. xoxoxox
