Fun in Switzerland

Yesterday it rained and we didn't do much. Bob found a giant piece of Kirsh Cake to bring home to his mum while we were walking around Zug.
Basically, yesterday was a chill day.
Today, the weather had cleared and we were spending a Day with Alexandra so her parents could relax a bit on this vacation! We decided to go to the Glass Blowing Factory to show Alex how glass is made. We went to the factory where the artisans were blowi
ng glass and making plates and balls and vases. We then went to the lake area where they have fountains to play with and make the water do different things. We also went the glass museum where they had hands on glass displays to play with. Alex and Bob were playing with the glass vases... one glass vase we recognized from the Swiss Army Surplus Store as a a Urine Flask..... so I took a picture of it! I hope they weren't used.We return back for a nap and then headed down to the local lake to feed the Hungry Ducks. There were about 40 ducks that came to to feed with Alex's bread. Alex doesn't like to share the bread so she saved a few bites for herself but was very generous with all the ducks and pigeons that showed up!

We decided to eat at the Man with a Van who sells hamburgers at the lake. We all regrouped there... michele, wes, david, and us but then he didn't have any burgers. We at at home and relaxed. Tomorrow is 2nd to last day and I am getting sad. I have really enjoyed my time here visiting with David and Jennie and also seeing Switzerland again!

When I read about the Kirsch Cake I burst out laughing. That is one large piece of that nasty cake. Thanks for thinking of me but I'll pass on the cake and hold out for Chocolate. Looks like you guys had a busy day. See you soon. Love Mum
