Potty Time

So the toilets here are quite extreme. They go from a glorified hole in the floor to super toilets with control panels. I have taken several pictures to give a good perspective. The toilets get more advanced. Hole in the ground that requires an advanced squating technique, basic bidet/ derriere tolet from my hotel, one at the mall and at work that has the b/d feature, heated seat and water, as well as a flush button to make flushing sounds what you do your business and no one can tell what you are doing! to the toilet at a resturant that had a light inside the bowl and a control panel that from what i could tell (with my limited japanese reading skills) did everything from advanced toilet operations, TiVoed your favorite programs, and did taxes! It was crazy. There are toilets that have a faucet on the back of the tank so you can rinse your hands with the water before it enters the toilet. I have used one of these but it was at a concert and taking pictures of toilets can be quite embarrassing. The problem with the faucet toilet is that there isn't a good place to put the soap, and if there were soap wouldn't the water be all foamy?!?

Tomorrow is my last day. I can't wait. I have practically all my shopping done, and packed. I am ready to go. I can't wait to be done with my work so I can get ready to come home! I think I will go to a museum that is open until 9pm so I don't bounce off the walls waiting to leave. I have almost everything packed. I came with 1 suit case, 1 carryone, and one empty back pack. The cases were both very full. I have somehow managed to fit everything into the suitcase, my gifts into the carry on and I am waiting to fill up the back pack at duty free!

I went out to dinner with TTC guy, Yeong, it was nice to eat and talk and know that i will be going home soon. I think it made everything taste better. I then went to starbucks to check out japan starbucks (just like US) and they gave me a free drink coupon. It was nice except I had to go down the street to use it because I couldn't use it at that time at that starbucks! Luckily starbucks are all over (just like in US!). I had a lemon-green tea. I liked it! I will go to sleep and get ready for my last hours in Japan!

That's one of the greatest things ever.

Have you ever seen my book on 1000 Crazy Japanese Inventions?
