Typhoon Missed ME!
So we were just missed by a direct hit from the typhoon. It still rained all day and was dreary. Training today almost board me to death. I will have to study again because my brain would shut off and I would lose bits of time. Imagine your most boring class ever..... and then have it spoken in Japanese.... There was a translator but It was too slow to follow the thoughts and I would basically tune it out. I am also lacking from sleep with my traveling weekend. I hope to get some good rest tonight!
Did i mention I ate cow lung this weekend. It had almost a popping texture... I would not recommend it. I am pretty much trying everything becuase I am hunting for something (other than sweets) to really like. Yesterday I had Jelly fish... also not recommended. Today I am skipping dinner because lunch was gross.... It is easy to skip meals here, because my brain does not have cravings!... except for sweets....
It feels like i have forever left to be here. I am ready for a change. I have a friend coming from MI for the next week.... and it should be nice to have some converstation and someone other than Toyota People to hangout with.
I have noticed that Brian doesn't always tell a consistant story. He bought the Harry Potter book on the 16th and when I saw him on the 18th he pulled it out and told me about buying it and how he was excited to read it. This was on the morning train and he was at about page 200. Then later in the same week he told me that he wished he had something to read becuase he bought harry potter the day it came out and finished it the day he bought it. It isn't as if we talk to many people... he couldn't keep track of his story. Then on friday someone asked him about sleeping through the train stop... and he said he had never slept through a train stop andhe always manages to wake up in time... I was right there! Ted from TTC was with him this weekend and noticed that he tells the same storys and forgets how he told them. IT is a trait I am not comfortable with....
Tomorrow is another day.... it is the last day of school in Japan for the summer... they will soon be off my train in the morning!! All the girls uniforms look like sailor suits with skirts for some reason... I would say 99% do... I don't get it

Although it's not really worth your time, you should call him out on his stories. Harry Potter and trains may not matter so much, but something might. He's seems to be a strange (and not in a good way) kid.

Oh - also, I hope you find some "real" (non-sweets) food you like soon! Cow lung sound like... lots... of... fun? Ew.
I cannot begin to tell you how peoud I am for trying all this different foods.
I have never eaten lung becasue our cows were smokers, so we could not have it. Maybe they had tb. I do not know.
