Food with Eyes are my friends

I went out with dinner.

The guys were nice...
The restaurant has a very good view for cherry blossoms... but they are about 2 days from being in bloom.
The food was very japanese.

I have given up caring about the food people order for me. It is easier to eat what is given vs. tell them what I like. My new rule is "I eat nothing with eyes".
This works well in theory. Sometime sthe eyes on eels are too small to notice until you eat them, Sumi was happy to point them out after I was finished .
This does not eliminate things like raw squid (better than boiled!) or octopus eggs. Those are some of the things I had tonight... but i washed them all down with Sake... so I am pretty drunk.
My belly is full of sea creatures and now i must sleep.
I have attached a picture of my friend, the shrimp. This is the only thing I refused to eat tonight.
