Have I mentioned I am not cut out for this?

Day 2. Today we covered quality control (QC) methods. We started at 5:30... AM! It is a lot earlier than starting at 7. We were in class with two line team leaders who we will be working with. It was very helpful to learn about the different QC methods used to keep quality up. There is a lot of monkey proofing... which makes me confident that I will be able to help and not be completely useless on the line. I am very nervious about being incapable of line work. Today we sat in a room all day and it was not as physically tiring as yesterday. I think I will die after tomorrow, this is tough work!

One of the most challenging thing is to understand the people's accent. It is kind of a dumb sounding southern accent. Sometimes I feel like laughing at the way people sound. It is also sometime difficult to understand. Words are said differently and used in different orders than I am used to... I can't understand somethings.... people crack jokes and I it takes about 30 sec for me to hear it. It is almost like listening to Japanese!

We have a computer from work to check our email.... we couldn't use it yesteday because we needed a password. Guess what? They emailed the password we needed to get onto the computer to check our email. Neat! So we had to call to get the password, to get on to the computer. It was such a typical IT thing...

I will be getting to bed soon... check out this new sport that my boyfriend discovered.... I am practicing, for sure!
